How to Install dvb-apps software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

dvb-apps software package provides Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dvb-apps

dvb-apps is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dvb-apps package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dvb-apps *
